Critical bug with Zipline not working at all

Have used my network of ziplines for forever now, and just yetserday they started dong this thing where I "get on the zipline' (the animation for grabbing hold), but I don't zip.

It sometimes moves my character forward on the zipline from the attach point by like 1 meter per 3 years, but I can never get out of the zipline animation. I also cannot access any menus from here (to include pressing escape) so I can only alt-f4.

Even if I detach from the zipline, I fall to the ground still in zipline animation.

If I don't die from the fall, I slide around on the floor in zipline animation until I hit water.

Once I hit water, nothing changes except now I have a swim animation but still no control over my character as he is still thinking he is on a zipline.

I am having the same problem. I am playing a game my friend is hosting. He is able to use the zipline but if I use it takes at least an hour to get to the bottom. I just slowly swing down. Very slowly. Destroying the zipline did nothing. Killing myself did nothing. Tried on my other PC and had the same problem.
