you can swim through the goose pond cave and get the rusty axe without haveing to go through the cave.

its hard to do but i just did it. the only time you almost drown is when you first swim down through the pond. the iron doors also open automaticaly if you are behind them so i was able to not only get the axe, but also the rebreather.

Nah there definitly is a cave hole at this spot, and I'm pretty sure the entrance appears on te in-game map. It looks exploity because the game kinda struggle to trigger the switch from forest world to cave system without an animation (as opposed to rope/crack entrance where the animation makes it smoother for a transition between the two). Plus, when you do the cave in the the opposite way, geese lake is an obvious exit

no, i know its an actual cave, but the fact that you can swim down it and easily get the rebreather and the rusty axe without really any difficulty at all seems like an exploit.
