2- you ca swim your axe lke you are attacking, if you don't look directly at the tre. look on the side

Feathers do not give faster swing speed. They reduce the amount of energy you use swinging the axe.

Currently there is no way to chop down trees faster.

Yes they do. Put five feathers on yer axe and start choppin'. You'll see the difference rightaway. Unfortunately it doesn't save yet, so you have to put the feathers on every time you load again.

confirmed, I just put 7 feathers on my yellow axe, and what a difference it makes in speed, same as 5 I guess but it works is what i am saying

how bout a faster way to get feathers? Since this is answered, I don't think I'm hijacking? I've had the game for a while but just started playing. Everytime I kill a bird, the feathers zoom off into the wind, if I could jump on one, I'd fly off the island...

Go to the beach that has a small yacht nearby, there are a lot of birds flying around and landing, run and hit them when thay land or fly low and quickly jump to the feathers.
