Any way to change spawn point?

Was playing multiplayer and my friend died. Got teleported all the way to the plane crash. Is there a way to change spawn point, like does saveing in a cabin or somethen switch it, or will you always spawn at the plane crash on death.

No. MP is very basic right now. Each time a player dies they will spawn at the plane.

Spawning at the plane upon death is highly inconvenient. Please add option for spawn point at the home I built (save point).

If you saved at a cabin and aren't hosting, you can just quit and re-enter the server. You will spawn back at cabin or tent, and will have the exact items you had when you last slept.

Did he just re-spawn on his own, or did you try to rez him before his timer ran out?
