why are mutants outside in the day time?
why are the mutants outside in day time. they should only come out in the night so you get the day time to prepare. it would make it so much better. the only reason they should come out in the day is when you've killed ♥♥♥♥ loads off them.

don't they behave differently at different times of day? I mean like, not leave their camps as much?

they act no different from day or night. all they do is roam around in gruops of 3-5. like i was lead to belive that through the day you were safe you just gathered supplies and prepared for the night. and when it was night they would come out and do there own thing. like hunt animals and ♥♥♥♥ like that. and ages ago i remember the devs saying if they spotted you they would follow you then eventually attack you but if you killed to many of then thats when they would come in the daylight to get you when you wern't expecting it.

Hmm does it happen every time you start a new game too? I guess it'll be fixed eventually, I'm more worried about the FPS drop never being fixed to be honest :(

If you leave your house where there is too many and come back the next day, they will all be standing unmoving. You can log near them until you get too close and then the AI goes back on

I find it very amusing right now because they attack each other a lot, I think they swing and heat each other and then fight.

I am thinking of building an arena and then wall them in! Make them fight to the death.

I am sure there is some enemy limit, and if you trap them all then there will be no more spawns or something.... only one way to find out. Build :-)

Sassy is correct. Originally the canni's were to come out at night (primarily), allowing the player to do stuff during the day to prepare for any possible oncoming night attacks. Now there are nonstop "starvings" running around and one can't get anything done - their frequency and strength (they ARE starving) is too high. It'll get fixed, but to me, they are a pita.

What do you mean they are starving? Sorry I haven't really played the game in a while and i hadn't much time to spend on it

There are several types (tribes) of mutants, some are more territorial and aggressive (towards the player or other tribes). I don't know if the ones patrolling the night are part of a specific tribe but night patrols are always much more aggressive and usually attack on sight rather than warn and watch from afar like the day time patrols. I noticed mutants active in their camps in the woods. While some others sleep in the caves. Maybe there is actually a certain tribe (a nocturnal tribe) living only inside the caves and go out hunting at night? That would make more sense I think.

At the moment it seems all are more than befor agressive towards the player i dont know why they are so pissed on players lol! but the sheer number upgrade and the as well upped damage and speed is a bit to much for my Gusto! Maybe all this factionthing is a bit over board now!

I don't think they follow that rule at all. So far I have had them swarm in pretty large numbers in the day, and the night.

I thought they rested through the day, and came out in hugh numbers at night.

Bug? Could very well be since the game is riddled with them, and now we have to wait another 28 days to see.

Yeah, I think also the devs are sort of "testing the water" with a lot of stuff to see how it plays out in the actual game, so I'm not too worried as long as we let them know how it's working out.

Although I will say it would be cool if their level of "aggression" went down in the day, so maybe we see them still, but they aren't as confrontational and they will look at you and maybe run away unless you provoke them. Then come back to where they saw you at night. (Just so they're not 100% 'gone' during the day, but not as intrusive presence)

prety sure they do act differently, there a lot less aggressive and roam less in the day. if your having a lot of trouble you are most likely buiulding or roaming along the areas they reguly walk. they like to visit those sacred trees you cant cut down. and always remember there little taddle tales if they see you and you let them escape its best to move on or be ready to fight. just set yourself a few ninja hideouts and keep stocked up on food so your never out of energy. oh and ofcourse the beach is pretty much a ticket for them seeing you there like hawks when your on there. also factor in the recent spawn bug fix. there will be a lot less of them just staring into oblivion instead of going about there daily business looking for some munch. aka you
