cant climb ropes

Really sorry, I built a wood platform in a tree and full constructed it, upon finishing I cannot climb the rope. Is there anything wrong or is the feature not in game yet?

If your player is cold you may get stuck on the rope. it's currently a bug, and you will need to reload your save to fix it.

well what i mean is there is no icon for a key to press , also no auto animation, i just clip through it like its not there

the icon usually appears at top of rope but as Survival said there is a bug also

There is no need to reaload if you go to your inventory or press esc and the back to game , then just crouch, most of the time thats all you need to get unstuck.

It appears on the bottom of the rope as well. Look near the ground on the rope, If you do not see an option it is possible the prompt has clipped through the terrain and is unreachable, If this is the case, jumping and pressing E on the prompt at the top of the rope should work.

The problem is if you get stuck in the rope in the upper part, then you are going to fall, from the treehouse is just a bit of damage, but if its the upper part of a cave entrance you are going to proably die if you dont stop your fall with the inventory.
