what he said. construction needs to be done on deerstands first. also does not hook up to either of the treehouses which sux. I did find a workaround for it though. Pain in a$$ but it works. after you build your treehouse using same tree put up a deerstand. should fit right in place in your treehouse. then build it after it is placed. and boom you can now make bridge goto treehouse.
placing - deerstands need to be somewhat lined up with each other so planning ahead is a must. open book select bridge and place under deerstand and it should snap into place with e, then holding right mouse click (could be left) walk over (still holding) to where you have the other deerstand to be bridged and when you are lined up it should turn from red to white. once you get white hit E again and boom. you got a bridge. Hope this helps..
I tend to slip a platform inside my custom foundation where I want the bridge to connect to, its a massive waste of logs in my opinion, but it works.
