Display on second monitor?

When you start The Forest launcher, I have noticed a greyed out box for "Select Monitor".
Is there a way to enable this option to play the game on my secondary output?

Im having the same issue... I guess I will have to write an email since its been almost 2 months and no one has even replied to this thread. On mine .. the Select monitor is grayed out saying "Display 2 (Right)" which is my secondary monitor and the monitor I want to play the game on but it still launches on display 1 (left).

That white window before the game starts is the Unity settings, If it isn't selectable then playing on your secondary output is probably not an option yet. Changing some things in this Option list can affect your game, (Like Keybindings) And is use at your own risk.

yes it is the white window that pops up before the game launches. .. i posted on the bug section too now... so we will see if maybe its something they are working on

well ..that will mess up my screens .. basically if i switch .. all my icon setups and stuff i have displayed on my screen using a program called rainmeter all get screwed up and have to be reset afterwards .. I could also just unplug my primary monitor and let it use my secondary as primary ... but same issues .. i have to reset all my desktop settings when I enable dual monitors again... I don't want to have to do this every time I want to play "one" game.

Ah yes, not worth it then. its tricky i know, messed things up for me aswell on other pc's.

it plays fine on my primary monitor but its my 27" monitor that i use as a "performance monitor" it has all kinds of info about my cpu, gpu and hd temps, fans, hard drives usage and activity, network info and internet traffic, weather and radio.

The secondary is a 42" that i use for gaming and productivity. I would prefer to play it on the 42" and still be able to keep an eye on my computer temps and all my other information. LOL not that I need to see that ... the computer has been stable at its overclock for months now ... but I got used to it being there LOL

Hi, to see the game on 2nd screen, you have to switch the "Mainmonitor" in your settings while you are ingame and switch it back. the game starts on Mainscreen and after first switch its on the "new mainmonitor" but stays there afterswitching back^^
