Trouble With Fire Arrows

Has anyone had trouble lighting the fire arrows lately?

I played over the weekend and they worked great, but I just loaded my game and they will only light the first couple times, then after the lighter does nothing.

Has anyone experienced this? It's strange they would be working perfectly, then suddenly it's like they're not even a feature in the game any more.

how many cloth have you - wont light without cloth - plenty at large camp

Ahh, that may have been it. It looks like every time you light a new arrow, it automatically pulls a cloth out of your inventory? That's probably my issue then, since I'm not manually adding the cloth I didn't realize it was doing it automatically. Thanks!

Equip your bow, wait until L shows up on the screen and press L, then draw the bow, not before. L might show up while drawing but won't light up the arrow. Cloth might be required but I can't say I ran out of the chance to set arrows on fire, no matter how much cloth I had and no matter how often I drew the bow - as long as there were arrows of course.

Cloth has nothing to do with fire arrows.

To make fire arrows out of regular arrows you open your inventory and combine all the arrows you want to convert + 1 booze.

**Note** The bow is defaulted to shoot regular arrows and it wont light them even if all you have are fire arrows in your inventory.

To change the bow to use fire arrows combine the bow + 1 fire arrow.

But how do you create Fire arrows? I can't make them?

put regular arrows on the crafting spot and add booze the arrows will turn red which means they are fire arrows. To change arrow types pull out the bow then look at your feet and hit "R" and it will cycle between the types of arrows you own. Personally after I light a fire arrow if I dont shoot it before it goes out then it wont light again. I have to then shoot the burnt out arrow before I can light another one.

I can't make even normal arrows. Where you find feathers? I have 3 or 4, they dropped from birds. I find landed birds, scare them away but they won't dropping any feathers. Any easy way?

Go to the beach, there is alot of seagulls, smack with a stick, 3-4 feathers guaranteed :)

Yeah don't scare them away, kill them, KILL THEM ALL! Muhahaah!


On the beach you can see where seagulls land. Just get close, wait for one to land on that spot and CHOP! Then quickly hit repeatedly 'E' repeat and you soon have plenty of feathers.

Thank you! This helped a lot. Now i'm more powerfull, especially with the fire arrows.

I was just scaring them, because when i killed them with the axe when they were landed on the ground, they didn't gave any. But htey were inland birds. Now i tried with your way and it worked! Thank you.
