Question on Cabin - stilts

Howdy folks, not having played the Forest in a while and then jumping back in when the engine was updated...i have a question on the cabin.

I built mine, from the ground and I guess the game allowed me to make it a high cabin on stilts...but can I access this or am I just screwed? I seem to be able to walk under the supports but can't "seek" shelter within it?

Any advice in this matter much appreciated.

You can build a stair, put a platform behind and build a stair on this. Continue till you reached the height of the cabin. With the platform/stair combo you can reach nearly every height you want.

just attach a rope to it, and climb up

Just go to the survival guide and find climbing rope and attach to the cabin.
