Walls won't snap together anymore

I started building a fortress and the ghosted walls would snap together, I didn't finish and logged off. I came back later to continue to build, but now the walls won't snap together. Any fixes for this? Thanks.

They snap, it's just that you have to get used to the "new" "not as snappy snap" now. :D For example, place a wall, then try to snap one parallel. Sometimes it won't, so you've got to move yourself to kinda look down the side of the first wall and then the sencond will snap. It's rather annoying and can take a lot longer to lay out one's walls.

I think they did this to aid in building so that walls didn't just immediately snap if the player didn't want that. That's fine, but it should have been handled differently.

I had a similar problem, and it went away when I slept, so I'd suggest trying that.
