Anyone running The Forest with R9 280 OC Windforce3x (Gigabyte)?

Hello peoples! First of all, sorry for my english!

Unfortunately my Gtx 570 from MSI got damaged this week. One of the fans stopped to work, so you can imagine what happened after that.

I'm now looking to buy another card and I'm interested in the Gigabyte R9 280 OC Windforce3x. I know that there is better cards actually, but everything on my country is expensive, then I got a really nice price for this card. I don't want to buy the 280X because it is having a LOT of problems (RMA), also, I did not found a good price for any model of 280X in my country.

I'm using an i7 2600k with Corsair HX1050, just to know.

But my real question is: How much FPS do you get using this card? If you have a similar card, like Gtx 760SC or 280X, how much FPS do you get? I have never calculated how much FPS I was having with the Gtx 570 but I think that it was around 45-57, depending on the scene.

Well I have 2 R9 270's in Crossfire in 16X/4X and taking Crossfire scaling into account, performance wise they would be somewhere in between an R9 280X and R9 290 and I get an average FPS of 42.5 with a constant 70+ FPS if I'm near the beach, but I also have an AMD CPU.

I'd think you'll be good to go with a 280 (especially THAT version of a 280 and a very decent processor) and will probably get higher frames than me.

i have an i7, r9280x oc edition gigabyte 3gb,and 8gb of ram have 60 fps easy
