How to collect/drink water?

How to collect/drink water? I go near the water but there is nothing like COLLECT / DRINK/FILL that appears on my screen. Please help

Three ways to get water -

1 - Drink directly from ponds or lakes (usually polluted, but not much damage) when you see the "lips" icon and press "E" as 2High said...

2 - Find a pot (located at various camp sites and villages), stand near pond / lake (and perhaps move around a little bit) until you see a "Pot" icon, then press "C" to fill pot. Place pot on fire to boil / purify water. After a while on the fire, the "pot" icon will show again. Press "E" to drink, then "E" again to place pot in your inventory. You may have to try "E" a few times as "E" also puts leaves on the fire.

3 - Build a rain collector - (1) turtle shell and 3 or 4 sticks. When it rain, water will collect in the shell, although it's rather hard to see it atm. Walk up to the collector and when you see the "lips" icon, press "E".

Collect water:
- Kill turtle use turtle shell to make rain collector. Blueprint is under the fish icon. Wait for it to rain and fill, stand near it hit 'E'
- Find cooking pan, hold it up when it rains
- Find cooking pan go to water and wait for icon to fill it up, then cook it on water before you can drink.
- Use 2 deer skins + 1 rope to make a 'waterskin'. You can fill it up at your turtleshell collector or lake or pond.

I have found that if no icon appears press (C) anyway and you have the water, you will here a sound as well

That is how I drink from turtle shell. "rain collector" It always shoes empty to me and I do not get the icon, but I can still drink from it.

Another thing here... i visited the cannibal village... i could not find any ropes... anyone?

If you mean the main big village, there is a tent/hut all the way off to the side of the beach which has ropes.

Other then that I guess that not everything went over from Unity 4 to 5 as for example there are no dead guys hanging in the village anymore.
