Windowed borderless mode support?
Since v-sync is very bad in this game (performance-wise) and also screen tearing is quite noticeable in full screen no v-sync.

I know we're still in alpha but almost every modern game has that option so.

Agreed. The Windowed Borderless Gaming program doesn't even work on this, so adding support for it would certainly be nice. Obviously that's most likely low on their list of priorities but it should be an eventual thing to do. As far as I know it shouldn't be that difficult.

They need to add this because windowed mode (even matching my screen resolution) is offscreen for some reason

The Windowed Borderless Gaming program actually works if you go to the Game Settings in the program and set the resolution to 1536x864

TY SO MUCH FOR THIS!
Since I suspect most people stop reading at the top instead of reading the whole page, I would like to state that using the -popupwindow argument has had good results on every unity game I've played. Use it instead of the borderless window hacks whenever possible and you'll save yourself some trouble. This post isn't going to be at the top of the page either, ironically, but such is life.

^^ Thank you. Perfect. ^^

Navigate to your Library, rightclick The Forest and select Properties

Under the General tab, at the bottom select Set Launch Options and add "-popupwindow" to the line without the quotes.
