Why not sleep in the plane or tents?

I think the plane would be much better and safer than some wood shelter once you remove the bodies. Even those tents you see around the world would be better.

Well...theoretical the plane its the first place where the canibals come to search,end those tents that are you see around the world are they home. You can build one just like that youreself,not need to cut so many trees :)

Edit : sorry ,indeed 2 bad that you cant sleep in the tents...i was thinking you talk about that mini houses of the canibals

Yeah, you'd think so, plus the plane has pillows and blankets. :) I don't think, however, a thin piece of nylon would offer much in the way of protection against canni's, Armsy or SpiderVag. Might make for a nice body bag though.

Getting in and out of the plane use to be very easy in the earlier patches and many would build their first base there. Now it is just a huge pain in the butt. They never said but I think the devs have nerfed it on purpose. They sure went out of the way to make it not worth doing. I think this was done to encourage people to leave the coup and go build.

i made my house in the area of those tents and nothings happened except for the other 2 camps next to it

I have thought about this in the past as well (the tents at least). While I think the ability to pack up the tent and use it where you choose would be OP I can see the benefit of it being somewhere that you can rest. As far as the protection it offers I mean we do have mini shelters as it is that offer little to no protection from cannibals so it is not that much of a stretch.

I would also argue that it should be different from normal shelters in that it should not show up on the map as a place that you have. This is due to the fact that there are tents in multiple spots on the map and I can see it getting cluttered slightly. It should be more of a passing convenience if you chose to use it.
