how to get feathers easily??

How can I easily get feathers because I need them for making arrows.

go to the beach, and as mentioned above kill seaguls. sometimes it is better to not chase them around, but to kill 1 and then just wait in that spot for more birds to come to you...

I use the spear as it seems to be best (for me) and I do this as above have mmentioned. on the beach. If you want to do it without worrting about natives goto the containers and do it as they barely go there.

btw. put a temp. shelter in one of the container and a fireplace near the door. watercollector right beside it, and you have a small base to cook a meal and get some fresh water to drink.
to feel a bit safer, you can add a few standing fires around the container door - or the container itself, and light them up from the inside, when cannibals or mutants get to close.

Use whatever weapon you feel comfortable with. Like said previously near the containers is good. To Improve the rate you catch feathers at...They release the largest amount of feathers
when first hit so dont let them disperse hit the collect button rapidly as soon as you strike and kill the seagul. Always make you sure are going to strike down. Then rinse and repeat the process.

I just get on the yacht in the middle birds land there constantly and I just keep killing them and collecting feathers til I have an amount that I want, usually about 100 then ill stop.

would be nice if dev's can make it so you can pluck feathers from birds, like skinning rabbit or deer, Birds have between 1,000 and 25,000 feathers, depending upon the size of the bird

Am I the only one that just wait for those over friendly birds to fly away and catch the feather that eventually drop?
I feel sorry to take my weak spear and do a mass bird murder for 3 feathers that usually hard to catch for me lol!
I wish there was an interaction on landed bird that allow us to catch them and steal the feathers

go to beach kill a gull stay there and they just keep landing in the same place you killed the first gull rinse and repeat (its a bird bug lol)

Said that earlier the Yaht whatever, i do it all the time get 100 feathers and leave after killing the birdies over and over and over that keep landing in the middle of the boat. It is a Pharm of feathers there, i just sit and drink my beer and kill over and over in middle of the yacht, they keep landing there. Rinse repeat, as long as you make it past the sharks back and forth or be a ♥♥♥♥♥ and catch feathers as the birds fly away...... ♥♥♥♥ THAT ♥♥♥♥!

I also collect most of my feathers this way :-)
