What can rope be attached to?

I want to build on some rocks to counter the wall bug with all A.I. But I need to know what I can attach ropes to. Like foundations and such

Rope can attach to large cabin and gazebo (as climbing rope), as well as to tree houses and tree platforms. I'm not sure whether it can be attached to custom foundations though.

Construct one of the buildings that has anchor points. Now open the survival guide and go to the fifth page of the Custom Building chapter. Now select the climbing rope. A bunch of anchor icons should have appeared on your building, look at or near them until the game toggles the build selection. Click 'E', then apply a single rope. There is a minimum height for ropes, not sure what that is though, but I've built a gazebo on a strongly elevated platform and had no issues.

The platform can also hold a rope attachment. This is usful for makeingbridges from tree level to ground level.

But beware: a platform which is build at max height seems not to be climable with a rope. Means: i built a max-height platform, attached a rope and everything was fine. After loading the savegame, the "E" button was too high for me so i couldn't climb anymore...

I think placing a platform with stairs beside your existing platform will solve that problem for you.
