how does dying work?
do you lose all your items, or do you respawn at your base?

There are mutiple save slots now for saves at different stages of gameplay, since the june 2015 posts you necro'ed.

For some reason I get dragged back to the cave everytime I die, not just the first time. Only if I get killed in a cave I die for good. Anyone else experiencing that "bug"? Kinda nice though

When I die....I always spawn back at the plane.

Because you have mistaken singleplayer with multiplayer.
