Does hard mode prevents inventory pause?

I'd like the game mode without inventory pause, that would be thrilling!

I don't actually recall if hard pauses the inventory, but i know the inventory won't pause on multiplayer (and you dont actually have to have others playing, can just load it as a multiplayer game thats private and still play it like you are solo).

Thanks. I've just tested hard mode in single player there's no inventory pause, time to rock!
