Can’t hear the game and discord at the same time?

So as soon as I join a discord call I can’t hear the game anymore, I went into my audio settings and changed the output devices for both discord and the game to my headphones and then I could hear the game while in the call but I couldn’t talk or hear people speaking in the discord call. I went into the discord audio settings and did a mic test and that was working while still able to hear the game, but as soon as I went back to the call they still couldn’t hear me and I couldn’t hear them.

Did you made sure in the audio settings that you checked the box, that your audio device won't go quiet when you are using it for communication?
