Release date changing?

Nope. The 22nd. Only says coming soon on the store due to a mistake before they sent it out to steam. They're working on getting it set right but it takes time.

Any clue as to why we can't pre-purchase it right now? is the reason cause of what the guy above me said?

Why would you pre-purchase an ALPHA who's release date is in a few days?

No pre-purchase, since it's an alpha. One of the devs are checking about a pre-load, but she said no promises.

Ah, that sucks): then again I never bought an Alpha game from Steam before so I didn't know if it was just delayed or if they wouldn't even do a pre-purchase, thanks. I mean the pre-load doesn't matter too much since it's SP only, but still, it'd be nice.

Its probably only going to be about a 4 gig download size at most. How long could that possibly take on todays internet speeds?

About an hour and a half on my connection, and that's only if no one else in the family is doing anything internet related. :P

On my home internet, 4-5 Gigs would take about a full day, non stop.

That's why I'm hauling by PC over to the nearest place with non Rural internet.

Google needs to step on it and start delivering there gigabit speeds to more places. We all need gigabit speed, it isn't 2000 anymore.
