Flag markers /waypoints

How do you do this?I have seen a few videos and people have markers points of interest on their game how do you do this?

They're called stick markers in the survival guide and I think they're in the custom building tab. You just lay down the blueprint like anything else, build it, and then you'll see a white flag icon on your screen like your home icon. If you stand close to it and press R, you can change it to various colors so you don't get them mixed up if you mark more than one place :D
