How do you view the changelog for a game that steam updates?

I've never been able to figure that out. All I get are the options to play it or clear the notification that it was updated. No idea what was changed.

If the patchnotes arent posted in the community forums or are not shown ingame visiting the games Steam Store page is a first good step.

There you can find a link labeld "View update history" amd also a link to the games offical website.

When a new update arrives, the games will be listed there, if there aren't update, the list will be empty. So everything i wrote applies to games getting updates.
