Can cannibals damage defensive walls?
If so, is there anything they cannot damage?

The B-Day traps are nice but now the building footprint is off since they extended the width of the built trap. Pre-planning them is tricky. Working on that though. I'll have it memorized before the devs fix it so it won't really matter.

just in case anyone was wanting more up todate info it doesnt seem they can dmg/break them but they will try(defence walls used and not including mutants)

It's rediculous how quickly mutants can destroy your defensive walls and gates. They should have special attacks specifically for beating down walls and they should take time to perform. 3 mutants all on a single gate/defensive wall should take no less than 30 seconds to break in because gates and bases in general become pretty much useless for defense in the long run.

When mutants come to your base, just run outside and fight them in the open.

Good luck with that! I like the B'Day traps to both kill the attackers and to protect the camp, They do a pretty good job, but during the past week or so they have been just jumping over, climbing over, over the traps.

The skinnies, cannibals, and then Cow Man all jumped over the activated B.Day traps. Um.. actually the Cow Man just walked up the interlocking parts and walked down the other side. My BDay traps overlap, so the skinnies can't morph through tiny cracks....but they still do.

The wooden defensive walls are pretty useless - but fastest wall you can put down. We made all stone walls - 2 or 3 high and 3 deep so we can walk on them and hit cannys and mutants from above them. We used wooden walls at first just to buy us time while we made stone walls..

Just saw my first big mutant! I have a walled off base with defensive walls and can climb on my cabin roof to walk on the walls. What is the best way to counter a big mutant with my things? I have 12 arrows, 7 being incendiary arrows. The rest being normal. And I have 5 molotovs. Thanks!

I would say you are going to need considerably more than what you currently have. One Armsy can take 4-5 fire arrows. I have around 40 fire arrows in a quiver along with another 40 fire arrows. 19 arrows just isn't going to be enough if a few Armsies, a Virginia and perhaps a Cowman show up - and that's in addition to the "regular" cannibals.

I believe one can have 10 (?) molotovs at one time and 10 bottles of booze in reserve. So have at least that and plenty of cloth to make more. One can also build storage cabinets for molotovs, but they require 8 logs each (kind of a silly amount) and they don't hold that much, but that's how it is.

Defensive walls can be easily blow out by the big guys, so placing stone walls in front of them might be a good idea.

My Reply-

Alright, I just played some more today and now I have over 27 arrows and 14 of them incendiary. I am always getting feathers to make more and more and have plenty of sticks. Also, you're saying 4-5 regular arrows to kill an armsy. I would use incendiary arrows to kill something like that. I won't even bother killing regular cannibals cause they can't destroy defensive walls. So my only use for arrows would be hunting and big, or armsy mutants. But thanks for the cabinet molotov idea. That's a good plan. I will get right to doing that when I play again. Yet I don't know about the stone walls cause I can only hold 5 rocks at a time so it may take a very long time. And yes, I have plenty of cloth yet not much booze left. If you'd know any areas that are by the shore at the yacht (that's where I base) with booze deposits that would be very helpful, thanks!
