Reliable way to find turtles?
Hey all, is there any place I could like 100% find a turtle? My little camp is right beside a nice little patch of beach but there never seems to be any there. I ran through the forest and some coasts for a bit but no sign of them, any tips?

I've had good luck around where the dead sharks are on the beach when it's mid afternoonish/sunsetish. They seem to go back in the water at night.

Thanks man, I'll give it a shot
sometimes you have to play around the water, and hit the water and stuff like that. i'm by the little raft and there are always turtles.

Yeah, different times of day at Dead Shark Beach; and along the beach N of there. Sometimes I get a run up by the rowboat.

Look in the sewers and make sure you have a lot of pizza on you.

There are always many, so make sure you kill one more than you need to be able to set your collector everywhere

Head north until you hit the beach. Hang around at dawn and dusk and you'll see plenty of them. You won't see any at night or in the middle of the afternoon though

Just hang around turtle beach until they start spawning. Crack open some suitcases for a couple minutes and they'll start coming and won't stop. If you just go to the beach, look real quick, and leave the area they won't spawn for whatever reason. If they still haven't spawned yet after collecting stuff on the beach head up along the shore along the cliff towards the large tree (not leaving the beach). Sometimes they spawn 100 meters up the shore first. Like I said, once they start they spawn everywhere but you can only hold one shell at a time which kinda sux. I've watched videos of people trying to get the shells and their problem is they don't STAY near the water. They'll start running around and head up to the grassy tree area above like they have ADHD. Be PATIENT and STAY near the water.

Evidently not if I decided to come here and ask you guys on where to find them. I searched a good long strech of beach beside my base and didn't find any. I've found an area where there are now so, this thread could just be locked.
