The Forest's Story/Easter Eggs (SPOILERS)

This discussion is used for us to put together pieces of the story that we know now or to come as well as Easter Eggs that we know now or to be possibly put in the game in the future.

What we Know (Spoilers Below)

-Mutant Babys in the caves.
-¯\_(ツ)_/¯ in the death screen (Only in No Birds Mod).
-Code added in v0.2 used to "drag Timmy", unknown if used or not.
-There's a dead camera crew, possible footage taken from them to add to the plot?

Do dead baby mutants count? They are more like just a normal thing you find as part of the game though.

Yeah there are many of those around the mutants, so I don't think that's what it is. I think the tennis balls have something to do with it.

I wouldnt really say theres easter eggs as yet because the story of the game is basically null as is, plane crashes, son stolen, thats all we know for now, the rest may actually be parts of the tale or tell the lore of the island. For instance (possible spoiler), did you notice at one of the more obvious campsites that there was a film crew who seemed to have been toasted by the plane crash, on the ground with them is one of those large production level film camera's?. I believe things like that will have tales to tell which add to the whole, perhaps on the finished version you'll be able to collect tapes that hold key info into past happenings around the island which lead you to discovering other things?.

So yeh, i think its too early to be talking easter eggs with the random things we find just yet, considering theres no real background implemented in alpha.
