What's the difference between regular walls and defensive walls?
The only difference I see is the defensive walls are taller and regular walls takes 1 less log to build.....

There isn't a difference now, but I'm sure once the mutants can attack/destroy walls, defensive walls will be more durable.

Those defensive walls dont seem that durable,if you notice in the trailer, one of the big mutants knocked over the defensive walls like they were made out of cardboard

Most likely because it was a HUGE mutant, so they have stonger abilities

The Defensive Wall is big and impressive. The Normal Wall is small and boring :P

Thats about the difference at the moment. :)

Mud and dung reinforced defensive walls next? or scrap metal from air plane wings?

I want Spike traps and Spear walls next!

I want to see castles and stone crafting. (Man my garden full of dead cannibals sure would look nice with a stone path leading to the effigies)

Maybe they can introduce a mutant dragon to slay and moats to build too.

EDIT* changed typo

Actually I think with the regular walls they "snap" together to build a structure. The defensive walls are like completely free built.

My defensive walls snap together.

Actually hate when the parts snap together automatically.

i cant wait till hordes of mutants can invade our bases. thats one of the things i liked most about the trailer.

I'm thinking that in the future, there may be cannibals and mutants that can climb or jump over regular walls while the spike top defensive walls will possibly prevent that?

Especially when snapping a square room comes out non square so you cant complete it.
Just build em one at a time. they only snap while they are "ghosts"

Ah good advice, never actually thought of trying that, wish I could disable snapping them honestly.
Thank you.

Altough ghost snapping is the only way to build ontop of other things. So if you want to make super high walls. do them one vertical column at a time
