Most people think you deal low damage with axes but this one slices thrue your enemies like butter. The Modern Axe is currently the strongest weapon in the game and is pretty hard to spot if you don't know where to look! This video will explain you in detail where it is!

Do you have any proof that it kills canibals quicker? Because there has been comparison videos and the starter axe cuts trees down faster than the rest of the axes.

It doesn't work for everyone. So far we have different hit and damage results. Some people need 5 hits to kill a savage while others need up to 20 hits to kill a cannibal. I already own the modern axe and it doesn't make a difference for me. It's the same work, just different model.

I have to hit like 1000 times with the plane axe, crafted axe and the rusty one but this one feels a lot quicker, also it feels a lot nicer to wear :D

For me the plane axe takes about 4 consecutive hits to knock them down and then 4 more to kill them (give it take a hit or two). Same with the Rusted Axe, which you can actually block with.

Personally I use the red axe all the time. I use the block glitch for it wait for them to attack and then wail on them until theyre dead.

Really strange! For me this plane axe works the worst. The best thing imo to kill them is just keep hitting them until they fall into a campfire then when they fall on the ground, theyre completely dead, then it takes just 1 hit to cut them to pieces aswell :D

There are actually 10 ...
There are 4 axes, there is a fishing stick, the regular one, the rock, the flaregun, molotov and explosives

what about reach? is the modern longer that important too. cause the plane one is short as ♥♥♥♥ compared to stone one but never tested?
