Cannibals or Mutants?

You know, as I play this game and etc I'm beginning to wonder something...

Are the Cannibals like... cannibals? Or are they not even human?

I mean, there are some clues...

1. You can't see their male gentilia.

2. They have scary, super monsters in their caves

3. They take like 15 hits to die.

4. They seem to be nocturnal

5. Weird markings.

6. Run REALLY fast and climb trees.

7. Obsessed with you after they find you.

8. Walk/run underwater...

Any ideas? Let's discuss this. What are your opinions?

They're mutated humans through a ♥♥♥♥ ton of inbreeding.

Yeah I think its a bit of both. They are not completely human, they seem to have better physique and more strength than most humans. With the climbing and jumping trees and their durability. They do look human and eat human flesh, so bit of cannibal in there aswell. But we cant be 100% sure yet. I bet ya we will learn more as the development of the game continues. Theres a story here, which we will be told sooner or later. The creepy monsters down there sure as hell has some explaining to do :P
