forest is primitive with rocks and sticks
choose the setting you want to survive in
DayZ is Multiplayer, PVP zombie survivual with normal, everyday items
The Forest is single player, PVE with items you could only make out of natural stuff and some, but very little, modern day items/tools/weapons. Can remind you of Minecraft
I'd go with The Forest.
Go with the Forest. It has more potential than DayZ... DayZ is a nice game with a nice concept the problem is that it's potential is left in the hands of its community. Now you probably seen some staged videos of people getting held up and robbed but DayZ is nothing like that. In my 900 hours I've only been held up twice in DayZ. Everyone KOSes everyone.
You don't want no part of DayZ until its full release where it hopefully has something to deter away from KOS mentallity.
i go with forest :) :)
Hey the man likes to eat toasters, don't judge him
This ^
Forest has a long way to go and is just starting out. If you do not mind waiting for content and think the Forest will go the direction you want it to then it could be a good option for you.
And that's what i want
