Guys, keep moving. Like Gorillas.
I've been survivng for 10 days now. I've been on the move constantly. When I found a good secure spot. I build a temporary shelter, build a fire, hunt some food and get some supplies. Before dark, I head home and start my fire, cook a meal, eat it and go to sleep. Then I repeat those steps.

If I run into a cave, I just build a wall closing the exit. Don't know if it will help or not. But seems realistic to cover some cave entrance to the evil downstairs.

Thats one way of playing. Personally I want to build a huge fortress. I just need to find a good spot first.

I might build a fortress when the traps are resetable. Now, i'm just meh.. too much work for just using it once.

sometimes mud will cake on you if you chop down a lot of trees, but most of the time i see a patch of mud the gets generated from the rain and you have to press "E" to cover yourself up. when it rains, just look around on the bare spots on the ground. I've mainly seen it in spots where theres no grass or its just a patch of no grass.

That really is the trick even if you are building....
Keep moving build a shelter if you see cannibals just run till they're gone.
Then go back and work on what ever your building until the heats on again.
Completely ruins the point in building in the first place but works well enough for the first couple nights(or what i've tested)

They Do? Well.. I'm too lazy to load it again. I crashed last time because of constant load.

I try not to fight them. If they start attacking, I start killing. I dismembered them building a simple effigy(i dont know how to spell it)? just to kill time and something to scare off the cannibals. But I died at day 10 because the body exploded and killed me. I was sad cause I didnt save. But whatever, that 10 days gives me results.

I've read IRL that stealth campers recommend that you start your cooking fire away from your sleeping area because the smell of food attracts animals and human. but it makes sense not to have a big bright fire right where you sleep. especially if you move around alot.
