Inventory Bug Troubleshooting

I deleted the local content, and reinstalled, Which fixed you not being able to pick up certain items after loading, but certain Items still Disappear. (All the spawns reset so whatever items you lose you should be able to reacquire)

Also there are reported bugs where you cannot build after loading in, as well as unfinished buildings are gone if you save and load it before they are complete.

Please try this and let me know if it helps. If you have any issues with being unable to build, etc. Please let me know here. Also if you can take note of what is disappearing it might also help.

I did just that thinking my update might have gone awry. Still no dice however. Most everything in the inventory disappears. I know I cannot pick up cloth, but I have not tried anything else yet.

actually removing buildings when saving could be seen as a feature as long as we can not cancel buildplans

Yea that seems to happen when I save and load back in. Also if you pick up too many of one item like a rock or a stick it will switch back to the starter axe as well as say drop any logs you are carrying. There is also a glitch where you cannot put logs in the storage bin. And no the bin is not full.

ye i like that ghost objects disopear its the diference between one bad placement ruining your whole construction

Something strange I noticed. I have booze in my inventory, but it only shows 2. But when hovering it shows I have 7.

I think we have the items... (After loading I was able to build most of a fire pit even though it showed I didn't have any rocks.) I think the issue is just displaying the items when you go into your inventory.

Here is some stuff that disappears, im sure there is probably more:

rocks
cloth
meds
booze
soda
leaves
electronics
rabbit meat
lizard meat
lizard skins
fish meat
candybars
teeth
body parts
weak spear

Feathers you cant pick up at all even before saving and loading.

Many of the disappearing items also cannot be picked up after loading as well. Like booze and cloth for sure. So you are unable to get them at all after loading.

prety much everything is lost but my axe and lighter are still there after load, im able to go out and pick up stuff that ive lost after loading, its not like before where it was there but was just not showing. it just completly wipes your inventory but this would mean i would after to do this everytime i load. at least stuff is getting fixed :)

So I download the Inventory hotfix update and I still having the same problems.
So after loading my game that I was was playing and saved before the hotfix, I checked my inventory and still saw that I was missing everything. So I thought it was just because I saved the game with the previous update before the hotfix update so I decided to start over and I created just a small hunter shelter and I gather many things I could to test it out. So after I gathered many items I saved the game and loaded the game back again. I wasn't able to still see my inventory but I notice I still had the coins and dollar bills from my previous save game.
I tried gathering things and I was able to gather some stuff but would also not show up in my inventory and when I wanted to pick up rocks and sticks, I wasn't able to because I was already full.
Going to try and delete the save files first and if it doesn't work then re-install the game again.

After loading it seems that a couple of items are not appearing in my inventory with picked up.

I can confirm these items along with sticks. When I load in, I also lose my hunger that I had when I saved and keeping items equiped is hard. Everytime I swing my 'fire axe' it unequips so I have to go back into my inventory and click it. Same thing with body parts if I pick any up after I load, I can only equip them, I can't see them in my inventory.
Also I cannot pick up feathers after the load, but I can before.

Okay so update on my findings.

I first noticed something was strange when it showed only 2 bottles of booze but said I had 7. I was unable to collect cloth, and on another save rocks didn't show in my inventory but I was still able to build a fire pit. Which made me think this is an integer and refresh problem as far as I can tell, we have the items. We can build with them. But the way it initializes and shows the inventory is a bit mixed up. I was able to collect cloth, and booze after a new save ensuring I had used them all up (made molotovs). Upon loading I could then collect and use cloth and booze. (starting from 0 vs x amount).
