Safest place ?
Is anyone found something most related to safest place on map ? Found couple guides for native patrol roads but they are so random, sometimes I can build whole cabin but sometimes they are like 20 on me.. Just wondering :)

There is no safe place! you will always be challenged. But i have found to stay away from the shore!!

I found best way to survive is go into the forest and find a small clearing, then cut all the trees around it so you can see in every direction.

The safest place is in the crashed airplane. The devs were too lazy to prevent you from clipping in it so you are able to just jump on to the top of the airplane. It's pretty embarrassing.

Best thing you can do is kill patrols which spotted you near your home so that they wont place a tottem(to mark you) near your base. Other thing > never make fire near your base that Will attract them , especially at night(do your cooking in day/dry or warm yourself).

Intersting, I did not know that the tottems ment they were marking you. I always notice one by my camp lol, and I shrug it off as bad luck. However, I always light fires at night. For one, its comforting and I usually have numerous torch fires or w.e they are lighting up my camps area. I also use them to light up my food source since I always build by a pond with fish. Having water near by is great for infection, if you're on fire, and having a great food source. If you build about one-two ethogies usually that keeps the mutants at bay. Just make sure you place one high above your camp so they can see it from a distance. I honestly went over two hours of not encountering a cannibal with this method. I could hear them screaming at climbing trees from a distance looking at me,but they never came in my camp. Another good method is if you have a flare gun or tennis ball shoot to scare them away, or throw the ball to distract them. I hit a female with one for the hell of it and she hissed at me and ran lmao.

Safest place is on the shore, specifically by the large boat. Build your base on the shore and if you get into ♥♥♥♥ and need a safe place you can just turn around and swim and jump onto the boat and you'll be 100% safe from them plus you can still throw molotov's from there onto the shore (strong arm?) and kill a few mutants to build some effigies.

There is also a flare gun underneath the boat on the sea bed, just swim up against the boat and you'll eventually go underneath so you can grab it :) Cause ♥♥♥♥ going into that cave to get the flare gun.

If your plane crashes where there is a cliff in front of you, imo thats the best spot. You can build walls off the airplane and box the cliff area in. Takes 9 walls.

Near a black blood pool. you can cover yourself and they will just run up and check you out and leave ya alone.

just make a little room with walls and 1 door, and place hunting shelter inside room in front of the door hindering the entrance a bit, you should crouch and jump to join to your room/base camp and mutants couldnt...

I've built a log cabin and surrounded it with defensive walls. My settlement is near the huge anchor on the beach and I rarely get attacked by the natives. I can ,however, see them patrolling the woods nearby, but they never come to the beach.

Is there any way to stop the fire ones going? Because I started one early day to be safe but the traitor stay lit to nightfall and a patrol saw it!

One of the safest thing to do is making one of the lady cannibals love and start a family. The other cannibals will respect her decision and leave you alone!

I did Fort where ends the Lake, behind the fort there is a high area, and almost always they often come Jimmys, so I climb this hill and I hope they move away, I've already finished with more than 10 with the axe, because I can't do molotovs, and never cease to come :D

Last time when I escaped on boath I had 20 cannibals running under water and as soon as I jump from boath they literally rape me.

But thanks about tip for totems and fire.

Btw that giant-great tree near shore/ship does have any purpose ?
