Where do you think this game takes place in?

It's probably in Canada or Northern Oregon. Also, those are not Komodo dragons, I know the wiki says they are but the wiki is kinda retarded right now. They are somekind of monitor lizard, a real Komodo would be a lot bigger, more aggressive and not able to climb verticly up a tree.

I doubt it's an actual location. But it's got snowy mountains in the distance, ocean all around for the most part, and the big ol' lizards, so maybe around Canada... Definitely not Oregon though, lol.

I looked it up, the lizards in the game are Asian Water Monitors which are not native to Canada. Although, people do keep them as pets so it would not be too big of a stretch to imagine a few escaping onto the island and breeding a sizable colony over the years.

They are a remarkable creature (the komodo). Their saliva alone can kill a man.

Just as a little update, I've been going through the game's asset files and I found mentions of "Austria" surprisingly! Looking at pictures of the forests in Austria and the mountains, that actually might make a lot of sense. I doubt they're actually basing the game in a real or specific location, but Austria and Canada seem to be at the very least where they've gotten their inspiration!

Austria? Are you sure? Last time i checked there was no jungle and ocean in the middle Europe xD

No, I meant Austria. The files say "Austria". And I didn't say jungle, I said forest. The game is probably based on multiple areas and mixed into one, but the only files that seems to mention an actual place are the ones that say "Austria".

Thanks for the answers. I had this feeling that it was somewhere in Canada just by looking at the trees and the mountain. Also the cold is somewhat of a problem.
