ways to make run better?

I have an old computer. My computer cant run games like this the best, but it can still run them with framerate drops and lag spikes. i have resolution set as low as it can go and every setting on the lowest possible, and it still lags. so i have 2 things to say so far: A. can anyone help me, or am i beyond help? and B. there should be more options to disable things, such as grass and shadows, instead of having it render about 2 feet away from me and thats it. i noticed that a lot of things seemed to glisten. could there possibly be a way to turn that off?

Its hard to give you a answer. The game is pre alpha atm...meaning its not been optimized yet. Honestly my computer is pretty overkill and the game dosnt run all that great. It will get better over time but depending on your specs these changes might not help you =/

minumum specs mean absolutly nothing. i have way below minimum for skyrim, can easily run it with no hiccups.

make the resolution 600x400 and fullscreen, then disable vsync and shadows water otimization and ♥♥♥♥, if ur using nvidia add to it and otimizate the game

No need to be a smart ass about it dude. If they can play certain games just fine without the minimum requirements then what’s the game harm in asking if they can make this one work better too? I’m in the same boat, my computer can run games with higher minimum requirements than the forest but it can’t run the forest. You don’t know everything my guy.
