I would like to see a trading aspect to the natives. You trade food and useful iteams to ensure you are left alone (or now). Maybe have a few different types of tribes that you could ally with.
There is a lot of scope to build a special world and not just focus of killing.
Biomes and trading is super smart, i wish something like this could actually happen.
Would make 'The Forest' a wide variety survival game.
Cry us all a river, he's quoting an old novel set in 17th century ffs, use your brain
Do you really think that I care about what you have to say?
Yes, exploration is key. I like the idea of abandoned shelters, but maybe it depends on how long it's been since the mutations happened because canned foods only stay edible for so long(If there were canned goods). I'm not sure if the devs would ever incorporate firearms in the game, due to the entire game being based on stealth(If you so choose). But, hey; maybe it'd be possible for peaceful mode.
True, especially for the monstrous, mysterious creatures that might be in the game.
Want to cut down a forest and build a town? Want to sail the seas and find another island? YES! Yet again thats gonna make the map HUGE and the size/capability of ones computer has to match.
