how the hell do i make a torch? lol

i tried making a tourch by putting a stick and cloth together ok didnt work and also tried hitting the fire witha stick and it didnt work so is it not able to be dont right now or am i missing something?

not in the game yet I belive but yeah stick, cloth and booze (or rezin from trees) should be the combo.

well the Enemys have Torches,so why we cant have them??
Btw you get a Flashlight "Later" in game,it can be found together with a Flare Gun and a Hatchet (better than the plane toy-axe) in the Cave they bring you when they beat you down.

I found you can make a Molotov with Booze and Cloth,a Stone Axe with Stick and Rock but no Torch yet.

Perhaps its as easy as taking a stick into your Hand and walk to a fire?? Never tried before ;)

When the flashlight runs out of batteries it's dead forever, even if you find a new flashlight (they also appear in suitcases). Really sucks because exploring caves with the lighter is a no-no and flares you hold in your hand are too rare.

You cannot make a torch yet, though TemplarGFX is working on his mod and most likely will have a torch again . He had the flaming stick, i loved the flaming stick...i want it back. And for exploring the caves? Use a Molotov, that's what i use. Here is a link to my cave walk through, yes i am promoting it cause I do think it's a good vid, if you can suffer my nasaly voice lol

as you walk around, you may find small blotches of a black something. I think it is oil or tar. Try puttin your stick in that and see if it'll light up. Or you may want to try a small tree limb first.

Well i posted that Many patches ago, i say they may have changed the crafting since i last played *a few months ago*, So what happens when you use the "Upgraded stick"? I mean does it look like a regular stick? A torch? Or what?

Hope i'm not too late but i have found how you make it in the new patch, you get an upgraded stick and add another cloth to it so it should have a white bandage type around it, then equip the lighter and press L this should make your character do the lighting animation and light up the torch
