Rabbit cage

how do you catch a live rabbit and put it in the rabbit cage. i know you can build it although looks basic with just sticks and no twine like the picture in suvival guide. so can you actualy use this?

i think u actually can use it but not at the moment. i think it will be useable when the alpha is out or maybe with some new update but for the moment u cant catch any rabbits to put in there i guess :)

ive been running around the island for awhile now trying to cath the rabbit. i guess its not available yet

Did anyone ever find an answer to this? The wiki and google have no answer. I tried traps but they always kill the game (animal game, not literally the whole game....just to clarify).

I've seen a few post saying you can catch them but can't get them out to kill and eat. I haven't confirmed this yet. Didn't see a reason to make something that doesn't work.

You build a rabbit trap first and wait for a rabbit to be caught. Then you go up to it press E and it should grab the rabbit. You can then go over to the rabbit cage and press c which will put it in there.

I have built rabbit traps, they DO work, and they will catch rabbits (not always, but they do). You can then grab the rabbit from the trap, carry it, and put it into the rabbit cage.

I've never actually done anything with the rabbits once they're in the cage, but you can trap them and put them in there.

Also, whenever you load your game, the rabbits in your cage will vanish.

How can you grab the rabbit captured in a rabbit trap? I only have the option with E but it only reset the trap. When the rabbit is in the trap, press E will only make the trap instantly close again.

I changed my "use" key to W, does it matter? I think this is a bug since I changed the key mapping but I still have to press E to reset the trap.

I have this same problem, apparently in the latest build they seem to be broken. From what I was told, you used to be able to walk up, select the rabbit with "use", to grab it alive, then select "use" again to reset the trap. But now it appears to be bugged and you can only reset the trap.

just chase the rabit and learn how to control its direction and it'll sometimes run into the trap when you chase it..

it takes a while but it can be done as i've done it a few times.

but that was before the recent update so i don't know if it works right now.

I put two rabbits in the cage, how do I get them to make ♥♥♥♥? I want MOAR RABBITS.
ALSO. How do I kill the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when i pull em out of the cage lol

The trap does work and you can remove them by pressing E, it takes a couple of times and you have to move around till you hit it without resetting the trap, till you;re ready of course. I have not had them multiply after playing several hours, so I guess that part doesn't work yet.

Ahk cheers brudda figured out how to eat them, but haven't had them multiply either.. doesn't matter too much I catch them pretty frequently!

I have the answer to this!!! When you have a Rabbit trap, you know the one you placed down to catch rabbits and Lizards, anyways, you can walk over to the cage if it has a Rabbit in it and Press E to carry the rabbit, then press C to put in Cage
