How do you drop something from your inventory?

How do i drop all the booze and soda (without consuming them) from my inventory?

select it, bring it out into your hands, and press g, or b on an xbox controller. also, u have no reasin to drop anything ever. u dont have a max weight, just max item limit on every item

try making the shelves and racks that you can put all those items in..... O.o

The snack shelves are how you share sodas. My friends had like 30 -.-

For anybody that want to give co-op players an item:

combine the metal tray with an item, equip while still in the crafting area of your inventory and the other player will be able to grab it off the tray.

Actually you do have a reason. If you use hairspray up with your lighter and need a new can, you cannot drop the empty one for a new can of hairspray. Same with stuff like spoiled meat.

Thread seems determined not to die, so I'll add that spoiled meat can be dropped by equipping it and hitting "G", but doesn't matter as once it's spoiled you'll have the option to right mouse click to drop it as well.

Still doesn't work. I tried equipping the rock and pressing G, but I would just go barehanded and the rock would still remain in my inventory. Tried changing the keybinds, same result. Maybe it had something to do with save game, just like someone above mentioned?
