having a npc as a companion?

so u have the plane crash and ur one of of the survivors and there is also another survivor and u team up with this survivior.

things the npc could do?

you could command him to cut down a tree and harvest the wood.

he could fight mutants and defend the base.

build traps.

follow you around.

etc things that you could do in the game.

I would love it if the game had npcs. It seems like it would be lonely just surviving by yourself in the forest.

The game is ment to make you feel alone.... It's a Survival Horror...

If you feel alone, that's good, that's a feeling the game is supposed to make you feel, it means it's doing its job.

If there's ever mods for the game, something like an npc companion is something I could see someone doing as a mod. But please never add it to the base game, there's already going to be 2-4 player co-op.
