5 legged mutants??

I was playing and randomly i saw a 5 or 6 legged mutant! I thew bombs at it, fire bottles, and i kept hitting it with an axe, but nothing killed it!
Heres a picture of it!

How do you kill this thing?!

It's a spider mutant and it comes from the cannibal caves. They are supposed to die with explosives and molotovs and with the flare gun, and after v0.05 you can kill them with melee weapons.

Throw a molotov at her and then keep clear (stay away from her) until it burns off. Once it does, run up to her and hit her with another one....rinse and repeat about 7 times and she'll die. Slow process but safe.

Faster way but less acurate is to toss a couple sticks of dynamite at her. Only problem with that is that the dynamite can really roll for a good ways so it's easy to miss her.

I experienced the same thing, but with one of the octopus ones. I threw around 7 bombs and 4 molotovs and a couple axe hits for good measure and there was no sign that it had any effect. Eventually I just ran away. Are they just not meant to be killed? I can't imagine anyone having more than that in terms of items. It's practically not worth trying to kill them for all the resources you waste.

"Virginia" is the leggy one also known as Spider Mutants or Denmothers, the other is often referred to as "armsy" also called Octopus Mutants, Tentacle Mutants, Behemoths, or Hecatoncheiries.

And yup, arrows is my way to kill it too though Virginia in my games has the odd tendency to run away from me after being hit with a few.

hit with unbroken molitov, then a lit one or flaming arrow,repeat til dead , check my video called how to kill spiderwomen ;)

Cheapest way for me is to use molotovs. First check where you can run to; then hit her with a lit molotov. Move cus she will run right at you, very fast! Prepare another molotov and approach close enough to hit her. Throw and run to another safe place. Do this until she dies. When she hits you with one of her kicks you die, so remember, throw the molotov and run; look at the results from a good distance.

Flaming arrows seem to do more damage than molotovs. While they're on fire, just hit them with the katana. They die fast.

Put on some armor and hit "her" with a molly and start swinging away with either the katana or an upgraded crafted axe if you dont have the sword. These things are fierce and hard to kill if you're not ready, but only start to show up once you chop down enough trees from what i've read.

Is that possible? I tried to leave one alone when it came up to my wall but after is smashed through and came after me I had to get nasty.
