Worth in VR?
I have Rift S. Is it worth playing in VR? I never played it flat.

I've played both. My opinion is that they both offer different types of enjoyment. VR has some quirks to it. At least for me, it was much harder to control your character and manage what is going on. There is no HUD and some indicators are missing such as how much air is in the rebreather or water in the water skin. Turning is done in 45 degree increments so it is hard to be precise sometimes and aiming a bow is much more difficult but you can get good at it through experience. It is much more immersive and though. There were times when I'd open up my inventory and have the sense that I could just grab stuff out of it with my hands. One odd thing about VR is that you don't use stamina swinging a weapon but you also can't block. So combat is much different. In scenarios where you might have blocked on PC you will instead just swing wildly in VR and get much of the same effect where enemies can't hit you because they are too busy dying. Of course mutants are made more challenging for this reason since if you get cornered fighting them then there is really no escape.

My personal opinion is that VR is better in small doses but lengthy play sessions are better on PC. VR does eventually tire out my eyes while PC I can play for a very long time before getting worn out.

Thank you for your detailed explanation. If I don't play VR version, I probably won't play flat version. Can't decide yet :/

its the only way to play the game for me,I would not play it before the VR patch as I found it very unplayable IMHO, but in VR I love it.....or I did till I starter playing Valheim.
