It is great at creating and keeping a somewhat tense atmosphere, the audio design is a good portion of why it's even unsettling to begin with so they did amazing there for such a small team, but the enemies/threats themselves are the kind that can be immensely unsettling when you first start or little more than occasionally hilariously broken nuisances once you get used to the game (broken in the sense of pathing/collision usually, not broken in the sense of overpowered, though they DO hurt when they hit you...quite a bit, but its also super easy to avoid being hit by simply stepping to the side).
TL:DR: can start at an 8, stays tense but the atmosphere specifically can stay like a 2-5 depending on how reactive you are, or it can be an outright 0 and almost turn into a comedy, especially if playing with friends.
