Other than that, when no cannibals decide to patrol the area you should awake in dawn/dusk. The confusion comes from the brightness, as they both are EXTREMELY dark, sometimes pitch black in the "morning". You can tell if it's morning if you look at the sky and wait a bit until you see some sunlight, or by looking at water and seeing the sun start to rise.
Also if you find yourself awake in the middle of the night and don't see a cannibal, they probably glitched out somewhere, in my case a group of them were frozen in the sky a little off from my base.
And you're only about 28 miles from where I live. Funny.
So this is multiplayer? Atleast it's not tagged as one on store page.
