fire arrows reverting back to regular arrows

Anyone else having an issue with fire arrows slowly reverting back to regular arrows? I find that as I play my fire arrows slowly go back to being regular arrows...as though the booze is washing off.

Haven't tried the fire arrows yet but I have had my upgraded axe return to a normal axe before.

If you light your fire arrows and then switch weapons it would put out the fire. the fire arrows will now become a normal arrow because it already consumed the booze on it.

If you are talk about fire arrows becoming regular arrows then that hasn't happen to me.

Thanks Noob! That's likely what's happening...I use fire arrows for light in caves all the time so everytime I switch weapons I've used up the booze off the arrow...makes perfect sense.

Yeah thanks Super Noob, I was also wondering about that.
Furthermore, when u put firearrows in a basket, then quit en load again they all are reverted back to normal arrows :/ Or am I missing something?

also happens to me guess devs overlook this stuff hope they patch it up in the next update
coz there is no way to store fire arrows

I put alcohol on my arrows, equipped my bow and the light my lighter and the arrows didn't light. I have cloth in my inventory, so I know that is not the issue. When I went back into my inventory, all the arrows were regular arrows again. I did not equipped another arrow. I am confused as to what is going on :(

The bow is defaulted to fire regular arrows, so you need to combine the bow and a fire arrow to 'select' it to use fire arrows instead. When you've done that you'll see the little flame symbol on the bow same as you can see on the fire arrows.

To create fire arrows place as many arrows as you want on the mat and one bottle of booze, it will convert all the arrows into fire arrows with just one bottle. You'll notice the fire arrows will be red instead of the usual dark gray afterwards.

When you log out the bow will return to the default of regular arrows.

Theres currently a glitch where you put down all of the normal arrows on the crafting mat. Then you put 1 fire arrow down and when you back out of your inventory and open it again, it should convert the normal arrows to fire arrows. If you do it the opposite way, it converts your fire arrows to normal arrows. I do this when I don't have booze on me.

nice trick, like a little cheat :)

I think this may partially happen if you light an arrow but do not fire it (revert to another item, such as map). It's as if it burns off the alcohol from the arrow in question.
