About aggro of the mobs
Hello, i am begginer in The Forest. I have one base, full with wood gates, and in the middle i have my house. My question is about the agro of mobs, if i am in the house, the house is closed, and i am in full silence. But the monsters can fell my presence =D Have something for i do? This game is very good, but my idea is make one place where the monsters can not fell my presence.

Ps. Guys, sorry my english

I'm new to the game my self but from what i read. Just making the walls makes them mad. And having a fire doesnt help at all lol.

But i would also like to learn some more tricks or tips for not pissing them off to much if anyone wants to share.

I've never used it but there's a guide on how to make peace with some of the tribes http://steamcommunity.com/app/242760/guides/#scrollTop=200

they are fairly good about patrolling most of the map, but there are a few places you are very unlikely to get noticed unless you cause a scene with a nearby patrol while scavenging or something, and there are some places that their current AI can't seem to comprehend how to reach. For example there is one small beach somewhat near the sailboat that they can't seem to figure out, it's very close to one of the possible crash sites when you start, and theres a small slope and then a bunch of rocks you can jump up and down to reach that beach, unless they slide down the cliff they don't seem to have any idea how to reach you which makes it a great base for a more peaceful player. Then again, you could do the exact opposite approach (though I'd recommend getting used to the game first) and just do something like this: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/309991739111239841/0C9C0FBFE602BDD5C6385C6DF85B85F76F797C1F/ turns out if you can push back some of their larger assaults they generally back off for a bit lol. If it helps at all, the house icon you can see in the picture is actually my base on the beach i mentioned.

Large structures do attract cannibals attention, i'm not sure that it causes them to become aggressive.

From what i have gathered, cannibal's aggro is triggered when they observe the player sprinting, cutting bushes or trees, being in cannibal's camps or ignoring their territorial markers, aggro is also triggered by effigies and bonfires, whether lit on fire or not.
