Tree bridges/ropes

Can the hanging (forget official name) bridges/walkways and /or the rope be used on anything but tree platforms or tree houses?

We'd love to build a center structure in our base and then have five bridge walkways reaching out to other buildings, meaning we never have to touch the ground to get around.

Also, it would be nice to be able to attach a rope to ledges and buildings to climb up them instead of using stairs.

put some simple stairs out of the way of the ladder going to the tree house
then connect the tree bridge to the top of the stairs on the tree house, thats what i did works fine

and if you build a high up house or gazebo you can use ropes to climb up instead of stairs to anchor on to the front of the structure

You mean a prefab type house though? We do everything with custom walls/roof/foundation.


i didn't understand about the first response though - we have no ladders..? We're trying to attach the tree bridge to something other than a tree house. It so far doesn't seem to stick to non 'tree' platforms/structures.
