[Free] Map for The Forest (Android and iOS)

Hey guys!
With my friends I have created an app (free to download) for Android and iOS (iPhone and iPad) to help people to play in The Forest game.
This is an interactive map making easier-to-use the disclosure of the locations, tools, cave and more.
You can show or hide the items that you want to see.
You can also add (and delete) your PERSONAL HOUSES and THE SITE WHERE THE PLANE CRASHED (if you unterstood where is this site in your game is easy ;) ).

Hope this help you to enjoy the game.

The app is available for Android (tablet and smartphone) iPhone and iPad.

If you prefer search it in Google Store try to write in the search box "Map for The Forest" (the exactly app's name) by Overulez Indie (the group friend's name with I cooperate).

In the Apple Store you can find this:
for iPhone with "Map for The Forest" (as Android) but by Stefano (not Overulez);
for iPad with "The Forest Map" by Stefano.

Remember this app is under continuous development.

Here we are. The big update is ready.

We have fully drawn the maps.
This will allow us to develop and personalize the app as we want. We hope this will make you happy.
We have done an hard work, but we know that there is still large room for improvement.
Now, the maps are completed but we expect you tell us how to improve them.

These are the other updates :

- New orientation for maps
- New icon
- New items
- More visibility to add or delete a house or plane
- App size reduced (we've saved until 10Mb)


This update is now available for Android. Soon it will be available for iOS.

From today all the app's versions (iPhone, iPad and Android) are updated at the last version and available!

The updates are:
- new cave's map;
- better item's positioning when you change the zoom's level;
- app's size reduced;
- bugfixes.

Does it show special item locations? Katana, Climbing AXE, Rebreather, Compass, MAP, Pedometter?

Can you make a slider type map zooming? (like google maps) or two fingers zooming (smartphone like)

Better visual maybe sound feedback for button pressing would be welcome

Yes, I think that I'll do it in the next 3 or 4 weeks, now I'm working on other projects :)

Hi Justas, thank you!

First at all... I'll add new item's types in the next week :)

Then... I chose to manage the map with the zoom in and out buttons in order to save the RAM's usage. In this mode the app's elaboration is simpler than the two fingers zooming (I know that the two fingers mode would be better :( ).

Anyway I'll continue to work on this to improve the app's features for the future...
