just saying there are perks to epics store as well. They give 10bucks coupon. Okey you need to buy a game that costs 15bucks -> but still its more discount than steam is giving on most games. And this discount still on top off other discounts which makes it a pretty sweet deal

if you have a high steam level like me you get perks for being a high level and the higher level you are the more perks that are added like you will get coupons for games between 30-70% off or some times steam will just straight up give you a game its rare but it can happen and not to mention that if you play like TF2 payday2 dead by daylight any game that has content that you can unlock and sell for real money Beats the epic store in any way because by playing games on steam you earn money NOT A LOT but still a lot more then what epic gives

Yes well not everyone has time or money to get high steam levels... and Epic is giving out 12 free games this month for everyone who claims them. You don't need any fanzy levels or nothing. And then again if you get a real day job you don't have to grind and sell trading cards. Just saying

its not hard to get steam levels and i literally got 90 levels from the steam summer sale event i only spent $10 that sale all my points came from the winning team along with instead of spending the event currency on emotes and wallpapers or having a gold temp name that was compleetly pointless i spent all my points on leveling up the other way of leveling up is playing games
if you honestly want to see someone who has no life on steam go look at people who have the level 4000+ and who cares about 12 free games i mean yeah they are 12 free games but i just looked up the list and they are OLD GAMES like more then possible 5-7 years old some newer then that but no duh the majority of them most people on steam already own some or all of those games they are giving away
heck more then likely most of the people got those games from humble bundle for free at some point unless Epic games are giving away AAA title games that are $25 or more currently or any indie games they really are not worth getting again nor why would anyone download Epic games just to get 12 free games that they already own
now if you are new to PC gaming i can understand 12 free game ITS A GOD SEND but you will more then likely get bored of them and never play them again

Don't get all work up mate. I've been in steam for six years or so. Ive got about level 19. Yes you used time and money to pump your level. Which well when you grow up a little you don't have the time or the energy to do or infact you just don't care anymore about that sort of thing.

Hardly old games. Under year old. Some are older titles. More classic FTL etc. But still its a alot more than steam is giving out.

From my bit over 200 games steam list i didn't own a single one. And there are good titles. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, Ape Out, Superhot, Bad North and so on. I will continue enjoying them in the future as well for free. And i didn't download it for the free games. Ive used it for Unreal engine before it came a store but this is a nice bonus. Plus i got rdr2 for 38 which is again a good bargain.

But i can see that you stubborn person so i think this conversation is done. For those of you who want to benefit the most of having more stores i strongly recommend taking a closer look at Epic, Gog is another solid store.

I only want games on steam, since there is no point in having 3132323 launchers for diffrent game stores. I want 1 profile with all games. Not 723626733 Profiles with 28346774 diffrent games and 4384736747 diffrent issues.

like i have Steam, orogin, uplay, blizzard with games on them but i never thought orogin or uplay because they are 3rd party launchers and i own the games on steam but it forces me to launch their app just to play the game ITS STUPID now if it was its own app like minecraft or runescape were you just click on it and run it thats fine i can put those games into a folder and i can easily find them

like when Anthem first came out i pre-ordered it for $80 then after finding out how much of a S*** show it became i got a refund and pre-ordered STAR WARS fallen orders i forgot about that game for 6 MONTHS because i never launch the application because WHATS THE POINT i only remembered about the game when it got added to steam

the major problem that someone has already pointed out is TO MANY PLATFORMS the more platforms that get made and get more "exclusive titles" is its only going to last so long and Epic store can last so long because like every game ever fortnight is only a fad and will eventually die out like Overwatch every season of Diablo 3, path of exile, Hero's of the storm, minecraft, Apex Legends and destiny 2 they were all major fads that everyone had to play but eventually the majority of the community die's out and you are only left with major fans of the game OR people with computers that can only runs those kinds of games so eventually Epic stores will soon be like Steam in the sense of being "unfriendly" to devs

and how has Steam customer service been garbage if you have played the game for less then 2 hours AND if you have not owned the game for MORE then 2 WEEKS you can fully refund the game NO QUESTIONS ASKED i have refunded a game at with the time of 1:59:30 and got my money back with in 24 hours on to my steam wallet

over staturation for gaming platforms Streaming services they will be spread so thin that no one will want to have multiple applications just to play a game they want to play Heck i have marked a few games as dead to me because they are on Epic store because i wont remember that i own them so why would i pay $60 for a game that i will more then likely forget about and im sure a lot of other people would agree

another point is if Epic store is doing SO WELL why are they trying so hard to give developers "exclusive" rights if they had nothing to fight for they would leave it to open market so that way Developers can have their game on multiple platforms

but wait that only puts in another problem the more platforms the dev puts their game out on the more times they have to send out patches not to mention if they release it on a console then they have to wait for the Developers on the Console to approve their patch and make sure its ok making it harder for them to keep their game up to date AND to keep the community happy
