Blood wont go away

I have blood on my arms and i go into the water and it doesnt go away.

You have to completely submerge to wash off any blood, if you're already doing that then i dont have an answer

but do you have still the writings on your screen (you are infected or not) .....if not then you may continue your jorney even when you are bloody

Having the same problem. I put myself into the water until the point I'm swimming and still doesn't wash blood of the only way i have been able to fix this bug is logging out and back into my game.

This is absolutely ridiculous! I have been swimming UNDER WATER for so long, my skin is wilted! Never have I played a survival game that is so difficult to friggin learn to do basic skills. Some major issues here.

Ok I'm obviously doomed to die of infection cause I can't find a body of water that will clean me, not the big lake by the zombie village. Not the ocean. Nothing. I stay under water until I run out of air, do it again, do it again. What type of blood do these characters have that won't wash off in water, salt water no less? And mud supposedly cleans it off. Ok, where to find mud? One would think it would be by a body of water, like a lake or the ocean. But nope. Not at all. This is plain stupid. Games are not supposed to be a cause for stress. They are supposed to help relieve stress. I just want to throw this game in the trash heap of history. I had Sons of the Forest on my wish list but seeing as this game was "finished" long again and a player can't even wash simple blood off, I am having a change of heart. Wow, this is just unbelieveable.

This game certainly could have used a bit more polish before they considered it done, but if you do have an interest in trying to continue, most of the glitches do have workarounds. Mud appears randomly all over the place after rain, but if your blood is currently glitched you might want to save and reload. Sometimes status effects can get stuck but a reload will often fix it. If working normally, any body of water you can even partially submerge yourself in should work to wash off the blood, I've even crouched in shallow cave pools to do so before, but clearly yours is not working correctly right now.
